The Mari El National Guard took bronze in one of the Spartakiad competitions among government bodies

From November 26 to December 10, within the framework of the federal program “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, the Spartakiad was held among government bodies of the Republic of Mari El. A team from the Office of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Mari El took part in the traditional and large-scale event of the republic.
In total, representatives of 23 teams from all over the republic competed in competitions for the title of best in mini-football, table tennis, swimming, volleyball, chess, as well as passing the GTO standards.
According to the results of the Spartakiad, representatives of the regional department of the Russian Guard took third place in the competition for fulfilling the standards of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (GTO) among the federal executive authorities.
In the individual competition, the bronze medalists in this type of competition were employees of the special unit of the SOBR regional department of the Russian Guard, police captain Alexander R. and senior police lieutenant Vyacheslav T. and an employee of the licensing and permitting department for the city of Yoshkar-Ola, senior police lieutenant Marina Grigorieva.
The main goal of the Spartakiad is to promote a healthy lifestyle, popularize various sports, as well as attract government officials to participate in physical education and sports.
