Today in Mogilev, in the house where Boris Moiseev lived for the first 14 years of his life, a memorial plaque was opened. On Chelyuskintsev Street, 54, several dozen people gathered, many of whom had known Boris during his lifetime.

“Moiseev lived here from 1954 to 1968,” says local resident Valentina. – He grew up to be a very good guy. When he became a star, he came to us. We even drank with him.

The 250-kilogram memorial plaque is made of granite in the shape of a circle. The main detail is the profile of Moiseev, exactly the same as it was on one of the albums of the singer “Swan”. According to sculptor Philip Trushin, it took almost half a year to create the board.

– Boris loved his homeland very much, – said his permanent director Sergei Gorokh. – Once we arrived at the house and he said: “Someday a board will hang here with the words:” Boris Moiseev lived here. “And so it happened.

After the opening ceremony, local residents began to share their memories. Inadvertently, the main secret of Boris was discovered.

“Moiseev said during his lifetime that he was born in prison,” said Vasily Tikhonovich. – This is not true: Boris was a great hoaxer. He was born in a maternity hospital, and from there he was brought to this house, where he lived for the first fourteen years of his life.
