The initiative of the Berlin authorities aroused the indignation of Valentina Petrenko: “They will get topless!”

Berlin authorities have allowed women to swim topless in swimming pools. The decision was made by the Department of Justice, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination in the German capital, reports Spiegel. The publication notes that topless swimming should be available to “female persons and, accordingly, with female breasts.” Thus, women will be able to swim in Berlin’s public swimming pools topless, just like men.

About the problem of gender restrictions, about whether the German fashion will reach us and whether in Russia a woman will be allowed to swim topless at least in the pool, MK asked experts of diametrically opposed views.

French, German and Spanish women have long been wearing topless swimsuits on the beaches, the writer says to MK Maria Arbatova, which does not see much innovation in this. – In the basins of Berlin, this used to be “semi-permitted”, but now there is a clear wording. In addition, permission does not mean coercion, but offers a choice, and any woman knows how unpleasant it is to feel wet synthetics on the delicate skin of her breasts. The Middle Ages and its echoes tried to hide the body, while the Renaissance undressed and glorified it. Now a huge part of humanity is experiencing a new surge in the cult of the body, provoked by fitness culture and plastic surgery. And not only men, but also women should have the opportunity to demonstrate achievements in this field, – the main feminist of Russia believes.

“Who cares whether they are wearing a bra or not, if according to the laws they have practically erased all the distinctions between a man and a woman!” – the head of the Union of Mothers of Russia is perplexed Valentina Petrenko. “Perhaps they are already being specially undressed so that they can be distinguished by their boobs – those of them who are still women – in the pool. And then they cannot be distinguished by other sexual characteristics. Although men are already building up their boobs. Therefore, a man with boobs in their pool will swim or a woman without boobs, but with a different sewn place – it doesn’t touch me at all. These are their problems and let them have them.

– What are the prospects for seeing our women topless in the pools of Gorky Park on the same Airborne Forces Day?

“These things will not work in any Gorky Park,” Petrenko continues, “because if one of the women appears topless in the pool, then they will get topless!” This will not work for us. We are completely different, at the genetic level. This does not threaten us, because we are a multinational country and we have strong right things, a culture of what is possible and what is not. From time immemorial, a woman will remain a woman, and a man – a man. I know many women who are embarrassed to undress in front of a male doctor. Breast – for our women, not only its decoration, but also a means of feeding a child. And nature gave them not to shine in these places.

“I am sure that this practice will eventually come to us,” Arbatova believes. – As for the day of the Airborne Forces, then, I hope, then the airborne troops will at least stop getting drunk, splashing in fountains and making a fuss, because only sober people are allowed into the pools. Personal experience is that, for example, on the beach in Cannes, I was like a white crow in a one-piece swimsuit and sincerely envied women who bathed and sunbathed topless.
