The main fight of the Omsk Shlemenko MMA tournament was won by the Brazilian Loureiro

On April 14, Omsk hosted the Alexander Shlemenko SFC-7 MMA tournament. In total, 12 fights took place on it, the main of them against Alexander Osetrov from Omsk was won by the Brazilian Jackson Loureiro.

On Friday, April 14, the 7th tournament of the Shlemenko Fighting Championship promotion took place in the arena of the Krasnaya Zvezda sports complex. Among the guests there was Acting Governor Vitaliy Khotsenko, and as the organizer – the world champion in mixed martial arts, the founder of the SFC league Alexander Shlemenko.

The competition was supported by the regional government and Gazprom Neft.

There were 12 battles in the tournament map. Let’s start right away with the second of them – it ended in the second minute of the third round, because Rustamjon Negmatov from Barnaul achieved the victory with a painful hold “knee lever”. Rustamjon himself is the winner of the June MMA Grand Prix among fans of the SFC promotion. Thanks to this, the fighter got a chance to compete at the current Shlemenko tournament.

In the third fight, Vladimir Zyzin from the STORM school in Omsk opposed Eduard Khubezhov from Vladikavkaz. The fight went three full rounds and ended with Khubezhov’s victory by unanimous decision.

The preliminary card started with the girls – Anna Ermakova from Novosibirsk’s STORM Shlemenko Fight Team went up against Irina Chernyshova from Moscow. Anna in this case had a professional debut, where she won an unconditional early victory by technical knockout – 15 seconds before the end of the first round.

“I am very glad that my debut took place in Omsk. Thank you very much to everyone – to the fan sector, thanks to everyone, the atmosphere here is indescribable! ”, Anna said.

Of the six more meetings before the co-main fight, we note the confrontation between Stanislav Naboyan from the Omsk STORM Shlemenko Fight Team and Ahmed Osama Agib from Egypt. They fought for 3 minutes 58 seconds, defeated Naboyan thanks to a technical knockout by finishing.

In the co-main bout, the representative of STORM Shlemenko Fight Team (Omsk) Alexander Podmarev and the Brazilian Flavio Rodrigo Magon from Macaco Gold Team entered the octagon. The fight took 1 minute 32 seconds, as a result, Omsk won by technical knockout.

In the main battle of the tournament, Alexander Osetrov from STORM Shlemenko Fight Team and another representative of Brazil – Jackson Loureiro (Chute boxe) competed. The confrontation was nervous, powerful and bright, the opponents fought hard, seizing the initiative one by one. The fight went full three rounds, won by a split decision of the judges won by Loureiro.

In a commentary for the press, the winner noted that even when he had just started his career in MMA, he had a dream to come to Russia. And thanks to the team of Alexander Shlemenko, Jackson succeeded.

The next tournament – SFC-8 – will take place in G-Drive Arena in July. Shlemenko himself will also fight there – against Alex Oliveira.
