The lower temperature limit for the operation of APU equipment has been revealed

At temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius, Western equipment transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) may fail, said retired colonel and military expert Anatoly Matviychuk. He noted that Western equipment is not adapted to frost, unlike Ukrainian equipment, which can operate at temperatures down to minus 30-50 degrees Celsius thanks to special gas stations and fuels and lubricants. Matviychuk also stressed that the winter will be active for the Ukrainian military, with active defense and attacks, including attempts to capture various objects. In early October, White House strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said Kyiv had six to eight weeks left to mount a counteroffensive before weather conditions worsened.
He also indicated that the weather will not be an ally of the Ukrainian military, and after the specified period the situation will become much more difficult.
