United press service of the judicial system of the Lipetsk region reported on the transfer to the income of the Russian Federation of shares of JSC Lipetsk Confectionery Factory Roshen, which belonged to the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The decision on the application of the Deputy Prosecutor General was made by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Lipetsk. The court banned the activities of Petro Poroshenko, his son Alexey and the general director of the factory Oleg Kazakov in Russia, as it considered it extremist.

According to the court decision, the shares in the authorized capital of Roshen LLC, owned by the Central European Confectionery Company and Oleg Kazakov, should also be converted into the income of the Russian Federation. A court decision in an administrative case must be executed immediately.

The Roshen confectionery corporation of Petro Poroshenko has owned the site in Lipetsk since 2001. In 2014, the factory’s assets were arrested in a criminal case for fraudulent tax refunds (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, up to ten years in prison). In 2017, the Lipetsk confectionery factory was mothballed.

How, under arrest and without investors, the Lipetsk factory lost its attractiveness – in the material “Kommersant-Chernozemye”.
