In Krasnodar, the police drew up an administrative protocol on “discrediting” the actions of the Russian armed forces against lawyer Mikhail Benyash (included in the register of foreign agents). The attention of the police was attracted by about 20 entries with the phrase “No to war”, published in the lawyer’s Telegram channel since the entry of Russian troops into the territory of Ukraine. Mikhail Benyash insists that in the context of his publications, the phrase “No to war” does not carry a negative meaning in relation to the RF Armed Forces, but only expresses his personal opinion. Earlier, the police drew up a similar protocol because of a video where a lawyer criticized the decision to send troops – but the court dismissed that case on procedural grounds.
