The lawyer warned pensioners about the possibility of losing some benefits

While most payments to pensioners are currently processed automatically, some of them will require a personal application, otherwise they will be lost, lawyer Ivan Solovyov said in an interview with the Prime agency.
According to him, this, for example, applies to benefits for paying for housing and communal services, since from July 1 a single standard for providing compensation for the cost of paying for housing and communal services for beneficiaries was introduced. At the same time, the pensioner will need to provide a number of documents in paper form, information about which is not indicated in official databases.
Also, a personal appeal will be required to apply for a supplement to a pension for a dependent. At the same time, funds for benefits are not accrued retroactively, the lawyer recalled.
