Russian citizen Vojislav Torden, who is under arrest in Finland, is being kept in the most harsh conditions. This was reported by the man’s lawyer Natalya Malgina.
According to the representative of the law, the person involved is limited in his rights much more than other prisoners. Thorden, who is accused of war crimes on the territory of Ukraine, faces life imprisonment. It is noted that the Russian himself does not admit guilt.
Torden (Petrovsky) was detained in Finland on July 20, and on August 23 he was placed in a prison in the city of Vantaa in connection with Kyiv’s request for his extradition. As the Finnish TV channel MTV3 reported, the man was allegedly one of the leaders of the sabotage and assault reconnaissance group “Rusich”, which took part on the side of the DPR and LPR in the fighting in the Donbass in 2014-2015 and, as the EU authorities stated, which allegedly had connections with PMC “Wagner”.
