The last day of presidential elections has begun in Russian regions and abroad. You can vote from 8:00 to 20:00 on March 17 local time.

Sites have already opened in the eastern regions of Russia, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan and South Korea.

According to the latest data, the turnout in the elections was 58.8%. Among the most active regions were, in particular, Tuva (87%), Kemerovo region (83%) and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (82%). Moscow continues to lead in the share of voters who used online voting (74%).

In total, 4.2 million voters in the Russian Federation voted remotely. 62.8 thousand people in 41 countries took part in early voting abroad. In the first days of voting, cases of damage to ballots in ballot boxes and arson of polling stations were recorded.
