Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral was consecrated in Vladivostok. It took 12 years to build. Now it adorns the central square of the capital of Primorye.
The ceremony was held by the Metropolitan of Vladivostok and Primorsky Vladimir. Hundreds of believers attended the ceremony of consecration. The temple is the largest in the region. It can simultaneously accommodate up to three thousand people.
Construction went on for a long time. Work was suspended due to lack of funds. Despite the fact that the construction of the yez was not completed, the believers already gathered in it for joint prayer on April 16 – Easter.
