The Kyrgyz boxing championship was held in Bishkek

The Kyrgyz boxing championship among men and women was held in the Kozhomkul Sports Palace in Bishkek.

109 of the strongest boxers from seven regions of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek and Osh entered the ring.

Pupils of the specialized children’s and youth school of the Olympic reserve for martial arts took the following places:

Women:

Shakhriza Khalilova (60 kg) – 1st place;

Perizat Temirova (54 kg) – 2nd place;

Rustambek kyzy Ainazik (54 kg) – 3rd place.

Men:

The champions of the Kyrgyz Republic were:

Anvarzhan Khodzhiev (48 kg);

Sanzhar Seidakmatov (57 kg);

Zhakshlyk Talaibekov (67 kg);

Satybaldy uulu Sagyn (80 kg);

Bekzhigit uulu Omurbek (86 kg);

Toktosun uulu Bakyt (+92 kg).

Second place went to:

Adylbek uulu Erkin (80 kg);

Altynbek uulu Syimyk (67 kg).

The bronze medalists of the championship were:

Urustombai uulu Bayel (51 kg);

Adilet Kachkynbekov (54 kg);

Ikhtiyar Nishanov (63.5 kg);

Muhammed Dursunov (80 kg);

Daniyar Orozbekov (86 kg);

Nursultan Bolotbaev (86 kg);

Nurmukhammed Akimov (+92 kg).

The competition was held in order to recruit the country’s national team to participate in international tournaments.

It should be noted that the Bishkek city team took 1st overall team place.
