Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the information of the media and Telegram channels about the alleged injured State Duma Deputy Adam Delimkhanov. According to Mr. Peskov, these reports were received with concern and noted that it is necessary to wait for updated data.

“We received this information with great concern. We worry, like everyone else, for the hero of Russia. We hope that in the near future there will be some updated information about what happened,” Dmitry Peskov told reporters. He noted that the Ukrainian media, where the information about Mr. Delimkhanov came from, constantly spread false information.

Today, June 14, Ukrainian Telegram channels, referring to the message of political scientist Kirill Sazonov, who is fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wrote that the motorcade of the Russian deputy was fired upon by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces in Primorsk, Zaporozhye region. The TV channel announced the injury of Adam Delimakhnov “Star” with reference to the press service of the State Duma. The press services of the State Duma and the Liberal Democratic Party later told the Telegram channel Baza that they did not comment on the information about the alleged injury to the TV channel.

At the same time, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin claimed that he spoke with Mr. Delimkhanov, and he was “alive and well,” while the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, meanwhile said that the deputy was not getting in touch. “I ask Ukrainian intelligence to provide information on exactly which place and which positions were struck … I promise a generous reward and I ask you to help,” he wrote.
