Peskov: The conversation between German officers speaks of the West’s involvement in the Northern Military District
The conversation between senior Bundeswehr officers about the attacks on the Crimean Bridge, which has become public, indicates the direct involvement of the collective West in the Ukrainian conflict. This statement was made by Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov on Monday, March 4.
The president’s press secretary said that it remains to be seen whether the Bundeswehr is doing this on its own initiative and to what extent German Chancellor Olaf Scholz controls what is happening. Or this is part of the state policy of Germany, Peskov said.
“Both are very bad, and both once again emphasize the direct involvement of the countries of the so-called collective West in the conflict around Ukraine,” concluded the Kremlin official representative.
Earlier, the presidential press secretary said that the fact of publication suggests that in Germany they are substantively and specifically discussing plans to strike Russia.
Let us recall that on March 1, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group Margarita Simonyan said that “comrades in uniform” gave her the recordingin which German officers discuss attacks on the Crimean bridge.
Due to the situation on March 4 The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of Germany Alexander Lambsdorff. It was later reported that the German diplomat left the Russian Foreign Ministry in silence, refusing to answer questions from journalists.
