The Kremlin positively assessed the idea of artists to pay for damaged tanks

The Kremlin has a positive attitude towards the initiative of some musicians and businessmen to pay cash rewards to Russian servicemen for each knocked out piece of equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
“Of course, these are such patriotic manifestations. Even earlier, we know, a number of entrepreneurs came up with the same initiatives. This is not a lonely initiative. There are many similar initiatives. Indeed, society supports our heroes, our fighters. It’s good,” he said.
This idea was supported by Russian singers and People’s Artists of Russia Grigory Leps and Nikolai Baskov. They promised to pay 1 million rubles to everyone who shot down a Western tank in the special operation zone. “Grigory and I [Лепсом] one of the first people to make a monetary contribution on their own behalf. I hope that a huge number of our colleagues will join so that the Russian army and all those who protect each of us know that we are with them not only in spirit, not only in creativity, but we want to do everything possible so that they know: their feat is for us is very important!” Baskov explained.
The topic of payment of rewards for damaged equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discussed at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with war correspondents on June 13. The head of state stressed that 100,000 rubles had to be paid for each destroyed tank, and 300,000 rubles for an aircraft. Putin promised to deal with the lack of bonuses for this. “The fact that the money is not paid out is unexpected for me. I will definitely return to this today in a conversation with the Ministry of Defense,” he said.
