How informs Ren-TV, head of Rosatom Alexei Likhachev expressed concern about the growing threat of a direct strike by Ukrainian forces on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
In this regard, according to him, Russia plans to apply to the IAEA with a request to support the call to stop the shelling of the station by the Kyiv regime.
“The Russian Federation does not have all the resources to ensure the safety of the ZNPP. But until Kyiv agrees to the principles of the IAEA, the risks for the plant remain,” Likhachev said.
