The Kremlin has compiled a list of foreign assets for confiscation in favor of the Russian Federation

Dmitry Peskov confirmed the existence of a list of assets of foreign companies that Russia can take away in response to the confiscation of its reserves located abroad.
This is how he commented on Western media publications that the United States proposed to the G7 countries to study specific ways to confiscate frozen Russian assets worth $300 billion in order to transfer this money to Ukraine by February 24, 2024.
He explained that such a list was compiled based on an understanding of the “unpredictability of our counterparties” and their “propensity to violate international law and their national laws,” as well as “propensity for self-destruction and the destruction of the modern economic system.”
“Of course, we analyzed possible retaliatory steps in advance,” Peskov said.
He added that when Europeans and Americans introduced sanctions against the Russian Federation, they did not think about the boomerang effect. “Now it is already obvious. And they not only think about it, but many are already wondering whether they did the right thing. Such actions will have even more disastrous consequences in terms of the volume of theft of our assets,” the Kremlin speaker emphasized
