The Kremlin does not have information about the deterioration in the health of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

“We do not have any information on this matter. In any case, the presidential administration can hardly issue health certificates. Therefore, we have nothing to tell you here,” he said.

Commenting on reports that the head of Chechnya was in Moscow over the weekend, Peskov added that there were no meetings of his with President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, reports appeared in the Ukrainian media about the alleged hospitalization of the head of Chechnya due to kidney disease. On September 15, assistant to the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, Umar Daudov, published a video of Kadyrov’s evening walk with his family on social networks. On September 17, Kadyrov published a video in which advised “to everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the Internet,” take a walk in the fresh air and “put your thoughts in order.”

In May 2020, during the first wave of coronavirus, the media wrote about Kadyrov being infected with COVID-19. Later, the speaker of the Chechen parliament and head of the regional operational headquarters to combat coronavirus, Magomed Daudov, called this gossip.
