The Kremlin denied accusations of the destruction of the cathedral in Odessa

Russia does not strike at social infrastructure facilities “or even more so temples,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, responding to Ukraine’s accusations of destroying the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odessa.

“We have repeatedly stated and can repeat this – our armed forces never strike at social infrastructure facilities, let alone temples, churches and other similar objects,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

He noted that this is “absolutely false” and clarified that we are talking about “anti-missiles that were fired and which themselves destroyed this temple.”
