There are security risks in Crimea and Sevastopol, but emerging reports of downed drones and detained local residents who spied for Ukraine suggest that countermeasures are being implemented effectively, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“There are certainly risks, because the Ukrainian side continues its line of organizing terrorist attacks. This is the first. On the other hand, this incoming information suggests that effective countermeasures are being taken,” he said.

In the summer of this year, he also recruited his acquaintance to work for the SBU, who collected and transmitted data on FSB facilities to Ukraine.
