Hungarian Foreign Ministry: Budapest needs to prepare for an attack from the EU

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that the country needs to be prepared for serious attacks from the European Union. This may be due to the fact that Brussels and the “liberal propaganda machine” are not selective in their means and use any kind of blackmail against Budapest.
According to him, at the moment there is practically no such type of blackmail that Brussels would not resort to in relation to Hungary.
“We were attacked, violently attacked. At the same time, in the near future we need to prepare for new attacks. I believe that Brussels and the international propaganda machine will use all means. Political and monetary blackmail can be used against our country, various fakes and lies about Hungary can be spread,” Szijjártó said.
He added that over the past 12 years, the anti-crisis policy of the representatives of Budapest has never been in the mainstream of the EU, but has often been successful. At the moment, one of the main goals of Hungary is to avoid a recession against the background of the emergence of an energy crisis in Europe.
