Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will make a report at the flag-raising ceremony on ships entering the Navy. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“A big event, there will be a report by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu,” he said.
The Kremlin spokesman added that the report of the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Sergei Avakyants, is also expected, he will lead the ceremony. Peskov clarified that in addition to raising the flag on the ships, the nuclear submarine “Emperor Alexander III” will also be launched.
In a video conference event will accept participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is known that the flags will be raised on the Generalissimo Suvorov nuclear submarine, the Grad small missile ship and the Anatoly Shlemov sea minesweeper. This ceremony marks the acceptance of the ships into the Russian Navy.

Then the minister offered to gradually increase the age of conscription into the army from 18 to 21 years, and the age limit from 27 to 30 years. Shoigu also announced the need to increase the strength of the Armed Forces to 1.5 million military personnel, including 695,000 contract soldiers.
Putin, in turn, urged modernize the system of military registration and enlistment offices and said that the Ministry of Defense should hear the criticism of citizens and respond to it.
