Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia should consider providing security guarantees for Belarus as its ally.
Peskov added on the air of Channel One that it is also necessary to provide security guarantees for Belarus as for a country with which Russia is “in the most advanced form of integration.”
Recall that earlier in the Kremlin, negotiations were held between the presidents of Russia and Belarus, as well as a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State. Vladimir Putin said at the meeting that there are plans to create a security concept for the Union State. The Security Councils of the two countries have already started the relevant work.
