Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Russian authorities were taking “all necessary measures” to ensure security at the Victory Parade. At the same time, according to him, one must “be on the alert”, “because we are dealing with the Kyiv regime.”
“All necessary measures are being taken to ensure security, especially when it comes to the presence of foreign guests, the presence of our head of state. Everything that is required by law, everything is done for this, ”Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Channel One.
“Well, of course, vigilance is needed, because we are dealing with the Kiev regime, which obliges us to be on the alert, and once again confirms that Putin was right when he decided to launch a special military operation,” the spokesman added.
The Victory Parade in Moscow is to be attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Vladimir Putin also invited Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the parade.
