Press Service of Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedthat on July 23, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will arrive in Russia and hold a meeting with the head of state.
The agenda of the meeting will be dedicated to the relations between the two countries. “The discussion of topical issues of the further development of Russian-Belarusian relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as integration cooperation within the framework of the Union State, will be continued,” the press service of the President of Russia said in a statement.
The upcoming meeting will be the first after the settlement of the situation with the Wagner rebellion, which began on June 23 and ended the next day with the mediation of Mr. Lukashenko. The last time the presidents met was on June 9. Then the negotiations were held in the Sochi residence of Bocharov Ruchey.
