Platforma analysts have calculated how much Russians spent on ski holidays in 2022. Most often, Muscovites, Petersburgers, Krasnoyarsk residents, residents of Kamchatka and Primorye were interested in skiing and snowboarding. This is reported by ATOR in its telegram channel.

Platforma service experts found out where the most avid snowboarders and skiers live. According to the ATOR telegram channel, residents of Moscow were most often interested in active winter recreation – 29 percent of the total. In addition, the top 5 included residents of the city on the Neva (8%), Krasnoyarsk Territory (6%), Kamchatka (4%) and Primorye (3%).

By the way, holidays in the mountains last year went up by 8% – the average tour per person (excluding flights) amounted to 39 thousand rubles. Trips to Kamchatka cost a pretty penny – from 56,800 rubles for six days without a road. The most budget option was a vacation in the North Caucasus – from 13,500 for three days.

The most popular foreign tours were trips to Turkey, Georgia and Montenegro. In Russia, skiers most often chose the slopes of Sheregesh, the Kola Peninsula, Kamchatka and the North Caucasus (Elbrus, Dombay, Arkhyz).

In general, in 2022 the number of travelers on ski tours increased by 59% (compared to 2021). In January and February alone, mountain lovers booked 66% of all tours sold in 2022.

Krasnoyarsk also has a lot of fans of winter sports. So, quite recently, extreme-stolbists spent the night in the taiga in a snowdrift in 40-degree frost, three more “bent a horseshoe” in 30-degree frost. Wow, and strong men in Siberia!
