The Kostroma branch of the ONF saved the ski section in Sharya from “optimization”

The Kostroma branch of the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF) on its VK page reports on the successful resolution of the conflict situation that developed in Sharya around the ski section operating at a local school. There, about 40 children are taught by a coach from an Olympic reserve school – and the teenagers attend classes willingly, but… in November last year, the school management intended to send the ski section to another building, which is located on the edge of the city and it is extremely inconvenient for most of the children to get to it.

As a result, half of the schoolchildren decided to stop skiing, and their worried parents began to sound the alarm – and reported a controversial (to put it mildly) decision to move the section, including to the local branch of the ONF.

ONF expert Pavel Zaifidi took charge of resolving the conflict. He held a meeting with parents and management of general education and sports schools. As a result, the section remained in the same place, and the parents and coach are now making repairs to its premises on their own.
