Muscovites were told about the weather during the January holidays
The January holidays in Moscow will generally be held “under the control of a real Russian winter.” This was reported on Thursday, December 28, at the Phobos weather center.
As the leading specialist of the center, Evgeniy Tishkovets, noted in his Telegram channel, in the coming non-working days at night, the thermometers will drop to minus 15-20 degrees. During the day the air temperature will range from minus 11 to minus 16 degrees.
According to Tishkovets, during the January holidays Muscovites will experience “a kingdom of cold, snow and ice.”
It was previously reported that short-term warming will burst into the capital region December 29 and will stay there for two days. Leading specialist of the Phobos meteorological center Evgeny Tishkovets noted that at this time the temperature will remain above zero, and the snowdrifts will settle by five centimeters.
Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that January 2024 in European Russia will, according to preliminary forecasts, be snowy and warm. At the same time, in the northern half of the European and Asian parts of the country the temperature will be below normal.
