The Northern Fleet championship in army kettlebell snatch took place in the city of Severomorsk. The event took place at the “Start” universal sports and training complex.
Among the participants are over 70 military personnel from the main formations and formations of the fleet. They competed in five weight categories and two disciplines: the two-weight clean and jerk and the kettlebell snatch, the press service of the Northern Fleet reported. Athletes in light weight categories (up to 73 kg) used 24 kg weights, heavy weight categories – 32 kg.
The best results in their weight categories were demonstrated by Artem Trepachev – 70 points, Alexander Nazarov – 188 points, Vladislav Karpov – 196 points, Abdumauf Kodirov – 206 points and Yuri Kolodyazhev – 247 points.
In the team competition, first place was awarded to the team of the mixed aviation corps “Groza”, second place to the team “Albatross” of the Kola flotilla of heterogeneous forces. The third was the Armata team of the army corps.
In the Kola Arctic, more than 100 representatives of the sports community also received awards. Previously “MK in Murmansk” wrotethat the event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the regional Ministry of Sports.
