The match was attended by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who after the game personally congratulated the Kazakh team on their victory.

The Kazakh football players, in a hard-fought game, won a well-deserved victory with a score of 1:0. I am happy for the Kazakhstan national team and the army of thousands of fans,” the head of state wrote.
He also noted the initiative of volunteers from Astana Zhastara and other organizations, as well as individual citizens and activists who remained at the stadium after the match and removed trash from the stands.
