In the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, all judges were reminded of the ban on private correspondence on the Web, in which participants in various processes will take part. This is reported RG.RU.
According to the chairman of the Disciplinary Board, Sergey Rudakov, judges should not establish such relations on the Web that may give the impression that the court favors any participants in the process.
“Among other things, the correspondence may indicate the interest of the court. All these factors can affect the final court decision,” Rudakov added.
According to the publication, this statement was made within the framework of meetings of judges of general jurisdiction, arbitration and military courts.
“No actions in instant messengers or social networks should raise doubts about the independence and impartiality of any judge,” he stressed.
