The Qualification Board of Judges of St. Petersburg recommended Judge Oksana Demyasheva of the Vasileostrovsky District Court for appointment to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Kalininsky District Court of the city. IN document dated November 17 it is said that Oksana Demyasheva is the only contender for this position.
The day before the meeting of the qualification board of judges, on November 16, judge Oksana Demyasheva found the artist Sasha Skochilenko guilty under Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the armed forces of the Russian Federation). The judge sentenced the artist to seven years in a general regime colony. Before this, Sasha Skochilenko was in a pre-trial detention center for a year and a half. In March 2022, the artist posted five price tags-leaflets with information about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of Ukraine in the Perekrestok store.
