The James Webb telescope took a detailed photo of Uranus with rings

How reports NASA, thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope, managed to obtain new images of the ice giant Uranus. The images show rings, moons, storms and other atmospheric features of the planet, including the seasonal polar cap.
The telescope’s unique sensitivity allowed it to image even Uranus’ faint inner and outer rings, including the extremely faint and diffuse Zeta ring closest to the planet. In addition, the telescope was able to capture images of many of the planet’s 27 known satellites, and also revealed the presence of small satellites within the rings.
In infrared wavelengths, Uranus’s atmosphere appears in more detail than in images taken by Voyager 2 in the 1980s.
It is emphasized that the telescope’s detailed observations will help scientists unravel the seasonal and meteorological phenomena that influence Uranus’ storms. Given the planet’s extreme position—rotating on its side at an angle of about 98 degrees—Uranus experiences some of the most unusual seasons in the solar system.
