They also talked about the army’s efforts aimed at regaining control over the territory of Israel, where Palestinian militants had invaded.

“The military acted courageously and decisively to regain control of populated areas and bases, seizing large quantities of weapons in the possession of the terrorists while evacuating the wounded,” the military continued.
