The Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved the application of swimmer Anastasia Kirpichnikova to change her sports citizenship before the Olympics. Match TV reports this with reference to IOC Communications Director Mark Adams.

She has been training in France for the last four years.
