The verdict to the ex-investigator of the Investigative Committee, who embezzled the money found in the apartment of the deceased, was passed by the Khoroshevsky court of the capital.
As it became known to MK, the 24-year-old Muscovite began her career in the Khoroshevsky Investigation Department of the Main Investigative Committee of the ICR in Moscow as a public assistant, then became an investigator. During one of the district’s duties in the fall of 2020, she came to the statement of death – a lonely man died in the apartment. During the inspection of the apartment, the investigator seized the money and recorded the fact of the seizure in the protocol. In the investigation department, the cash was placed in a safe.
After some time, distant relatives of the deceased turned to the guardians of the law. They inquired about the fate of capital. And then it turned out that the amount stored in the safe was significantly less than that indicated in the protocol: the relatives missed 400 thousand rubles. And the protocol itself, as experts later determined, was corrected. By the way, this offense was not the only one in the biography of the investigator. The officer of the law promised her friend to help in acquiring a BMW for a small commission. She took a deposit, but in fact the man did not receive any money or a car. Later, the woman explained her interest in other people’s money with family problems – her parents were seriously ill, and she needed funds for treatment.
Soon the lady quit the UK and got a job as an administrator in a beauty salon. But the old sins still overtook her. Before the court, the former investigator had to answer under three articles of the criminal code – for theft, forgery and fraud. The Khoroshevsky court sentenced her to four years in general regime imprisonment. As lawyer Yevgeny Tutrin told MK, his client considers the punishment too harsh, and the verdict, which has not yet entered into force, will be appealed.
