The Investigative Committee is checking on the fact of a fire during a quest in Moscow

On the evening of September 11, due to a fire that occurred during a game quest indoors on Novokhokhlovskaya Street, six people were injured. The SC is conducting an investigation into the incident.
The participants of the quest from the Quest Stars company, which suddenly turned into a real horror, were teenagers 14-16 years old. To create special effects, one of the actors used a gas cylinder, but something went wrong: instead of a lamp above the heads of the participants, the plastic on the ceiling caught fire and started a fire.
As a result, four teenagers and two animators received burns of varying severity, two required hospitalization.
Now the employees of the Investigative Committee are taking the necessary measures in order to establish the causes of what happened during the quest and to identify those responsible for the incident.
“The Lefortovo Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigation Department for the South-Eastern Administrative District of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow organized a pre-investigation check,” reported on the website of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow.
According to the prosecutor’s office of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, a criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life and health of consumers).
