The investigation into the case of the Ingush prosecutor who warned the terrorists about the actions of the security forces was completed

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has completed the investigation of the case against the former head of the internal security department of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ingushetia, Nurdy Doklaev, who is accused of participating in a terrorist community and taking a large bribe, informs “Kommersant”.

According to the investigation, from November 2013 to December 2018, Doklaev helped the leaders of the combat wing of the Batalkhadzhins, followers of the 19th-20th century Sufi sheikh Batal-Khadji Belkhoroev (the organization is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia and banned). The prosecutor informed the terrorists about the work of law enforcement agencies aimed at suppressing and investigating crimes committed by members of the organization.

In addition, the Investigative Committee believes that Doklaev advised terrorist leaders on a strategy of behavior in case they were exposed.

It is reported that in the fall of 2017, the accused told the terrorists that one of the local residents was going to testify against them and advised them to get him to retract his confessions.

And in June 2020, after the mass arrests of members of the military wing, the prosecutor tried to interfere with the work of the investigation. He demanded that the supervising prosecutor take measures to protect the members of the militant wing of the organization.

In December 2018, Doklaev received a Volkswagen Touareg from the terrorist leader.

Doklaev faces a sentence of up to life.
