The Regional Committee for Physical Education and Sports reports that in the Kostroma regional center of Sharya on Saturday, March 30, an Interregional karate-kudo tournament was held, in which 120 sportsmen and sportswomen took part (this time girls also took part in the competition) from Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov regions regions. .
During the tournament, which resumed after a 5-year break, sets of medals were played in different weight and age groups among men and women.
A third of the awards went to the students of the Sharya club “Sparta” – they received 34 medals out of 90 awarded. Nine of them are gold, 12 are silver and 13 are bronze.
