The famous inscription in the center of Yekaterinburg “Who are we, where are we from, where are we going?” covered with a tarpaulin. The art object is located on a building that is due to be demolished.

The inscription “Who are we, where are we from, where are we going?” located on the roof of the Instrument-Making Plant, which belongs to the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company. The management was allowed to demolish the facility back in 2020. They wanted to build the Church of St. Catherine on this site.

The UMMC press service refused to comment on the closure of the inscription to journalists.

The installation on the roof was carried out by street artist Timofey Radya as part of the Biennale in 2017.
