The Indian Air Force will conduct exercises on the border with China and Pakistan during the G-20 summit, Indian Defense News reports.

Quoting the Indian Air Force, Indian Defense News reports that the exercise will take place in several regions of the northern sector, including Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. All major fighter aircraft fleets, including Rafale, Mirage-2000 and Su-30MKI, will participate in the exercise, it said.

It is also reported that in addition to fighters, heavy transport aircraft and helicopters, including US-made Chinook and Apache, will also be involved in the exercises.

The G-20 summit is taking place in India from September 9 to 10. The leaders of the Russian Federation and China do not take part in it.
