When issuing a single allowance for low-income families with children, the income of those mobilized, as well as social payments in connection with mobilization, are not taken into account. This was reported on the government portal “explaining.rf” with reference to the Ministry of Labor of Russia.
“The income of mobilized citizens, including their labor income in the period before mobilization, payments from the Ministry of Defense during the period of participation in the SVO, as well as social payments in connection with mobilization, are not taken into account when assigning benefits,” the portal said.
In November 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defense reportedthat the minimum amount of payments for those mobilized is 195 thousand rubles. They also explained that the mobilized would receive allowances with allowances depending on the tasks performed, just like contracted military personnel. In January, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed order on the procedure for paying the monthly payment to the mobilized.
In December 2022, the Russian government approved the procedure for paying a single monthly allowance for children from low-income families and pregnant women. It came into effect on January 1, 2023. During the year, 1.7 trillion rubles will be allocated for a single allowance.
