The incidence of coronavirus in the Crimea has increased sharply

In a few weeks, the incidence of coronavirus in the Crimea has almost tripled, experts do not exclude the imminent return of mandatory restrictions, Kommersant was told in the Ministry of Health of the Republic.

“Over the past 24 hours, 169 cases of coronavirus have been detected in the region. The day before – 143, two weeks ago about 50, ”Kommersant was told in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to experts, the increase in the incidence of covid is associated with the migration of tourists during the holiday season with a decrease in collective immunity, as well as with the unwillingness of citizens to be vaccinated and observe epidemiological precautions, which are now not mandatory, but recommendatory. In the Crimean hospitals, according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic, 1070 places for covid patients have been deployed, of which more than 900 are occupied by patients.

As Kommersant was told in Rospotrebnadzor in Crimea, with a further increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the region, restrictive measures may again be introduced.

In particular, the authorities of the peninsula lifted the ban on holding mass events, the requirement to maintain social distance, the need to comply with the isolation regime at the place of residence until the results of the study on COVID-19 and the enhanced disinfection regime in crowded places.
