January 31 and February 1 in Moscow will be abnormally warm, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

In a commentary to RIA Novosti, he noted that over the past 30 years of measurements, these days are the coldest in winter.

This year they will be very warm, and the temperature will exceed the usual figures by 5-6 degrees, Vilfand said.

According to the website of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, on January 31, it is expected from -2 to 0 degrees, in the afternoon of February 1 – from -3 to +2 degrees.
