By the end of October, the number of baric depressions (a decrease in atmospheric pressure) will begin to actively increase in Russia, as a result of which the weather worsens and the temperature drops, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand told TASS.
“In September and October, cyclonic activity is not yet so developed, but in the third ten days of October and November, pressure depressions will be much more frequent,” said Mr. Vilfand.
Baric depressions, in addition to affecting air temperature, can also affect a person’s condition, the agency’s interlocutor noted. Mr. Vilfand said that the lack of sunlight contributes to depressed mood. According to him, most often barometric depressions will occur in November.
Yesterday, September 23, Roman Vilfand statedthat next week in Moscow and the Moscow region the temperature will drop to 15–20°C. According to him, the temperature will drop from September 25.
