Hungarian Minister Boka: EU security architecture is impossible without Russia
Hungarian Minister for EU Affairs Janos Boka said in an interview with Finnish Ilta-Sanomat that the future security architecture in Europe will be impossible without the active participation of Russia.
He once again emphasized that it is necessary to create this architecture with Russia’s participation in it, and not by excluding it.
Boca also expressed hope that the European Union will play a “decisive role” in security discussions, and Russia will take part in this discussion “when its role comes.”
Earlier, Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, also noted the need for consultations with Europe on common European security on the principles of indivisibility.
