Janos Nagy, Secretary of State in the Office of the Hungarian Prime Minister, reminded Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov that monuments are being erected on the territory of Ukraine to Nazi accomplices who killed Poles and Jews during World War II.
“I do not consider it appropriate that monuments are erected throughout Ukraine to people who collaborated with the Nazis. To those who exterminated Jews and Poles. Modesty and knowledge of history would be justified,” Janos Nagy replied to Mayor Filatov.
Earlier, the mayor of Dnipro in insulting terms criticized the Hungarian Prime Minister Orban and Hungarian politics for allegedly seeking to “please the tyrants.” In particular, Filatov said that Hungary “is hated everywhere: from Romania with Slovakia to Serbia with Ukraine.
