The list of grounds for replacing the passport of a Russian citizen can be replenished in connection with the appeal of the Human Rights Council (HRC) under the President of the Russian Federation to the government. Representatives of the HRC suggested that the Cabinet of Ministers change the passports of citizens in the event that their personal data fell into third hands due to a leak.
“And how is the leakage of passport data different from the loss of a passport? .. We proposed changing the list of grounds for changing a passport, taking into account the existing digital reality,” said Kirill Kabanov, a member of the HRC, in an appeal published in Telegram advice.
