The Russian General Staff has canceled the postponement of mobilization for fathers with many children with three children, said Irina Kirkora, a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of Russia (HRC). The postponement has been canceled due to the fact that the partial mobilization activities have been completed. Earlier, State Duma deputy Nina Ostanina announced the cancellation of the postponement. “This measure was taken when the mobilization had already begun. And it was an emergency solution to the issue so that the fathers of three children were not called up for mobilization. On the eve of Nina Ostanina, who earlier reported such a delay with reference to Ms. Kirkora, statedthat the Russian Ministry of Defense reversed its previous decision. According to her, the department sent a document about this to the military commissariats at the end of December 2022.

The cancellation of the postponements was also confirmed by the military commissar of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Yuri Shuvalov. In conversation with “Chita.Ru” Mr. Shuvalov said that the corresponding document of the General Staff was signed on December 21. Chita.ru notes that the courts in the Trans-Baikal Territory began to refuse to review claims to cancel the mobilization of fathers with many children.
