“The most difficult situation in cleaning roads is in Mozhaisk, Leninsky, Lobnya and Podolsk. We are transferring additional forces there,” Mr. Vorobiev wrote in Telegram. He added that ice quickly forms on sidewalks and roads.

In Moscow, according to the forecast of the Phobos weather center, up to 26.5 mm of precipitation may fall per day, or 50% of the monthly norm. The city authorities asked citizens to refrain from traveling by personal transport. In the morning due to bad weather at airports was delayed or canceled about 40 flights.

In Moscow and the region announced yellow weather warning due to snow and strong winds.
